Just got back from an amazing day with Pambos, picking ingredients, preparing, and cooking traditional sheftalias, tzatziki, tahini, salads etc. whilst learning about the wonderful history and culture of Cyprus and sampling some of the local wines too. We had a great day which was fantastic value. Pambos is a great host and we thoroughly recommend this experience.

Such an amazing experience! We drove to the charming town of Episkopi which is not too far off from the coast. Pambos was generous enough to host us even though we did not make a reservation (Sorry again!). While enjoying great local wines we learned so much about the Cypriot wine industry and fascinating history. I highly recommend a visit when in Cyprus!

We were a group of 4. This was a gift for my husband's 60th birthday. What can I say!!!! We had the most excellent evening with Pambos. He was very engaging with lots of information, stories and an incredible sense of humour. We went to pick our veggies for the salad in a field close by. Amazing orange and lemon trees and we were able to help ourselves. The oranges were incredible. We also picked the largest cauliflower I have ever seen. We then set about making our sheftalia and the salads and other things. We all pitched in together and with Pambos's help we made the most delicious meal. Wine was flowing and the meal was finished off with traditional halva which we had never tried before but I will be having it again. I would highly recommend this experience. There is no way anyone could not thoroughly enjoy it.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Sheftalia Cooking Class with Pambos and it was an unforgettable experience! The lovely hosts, Pambos greeted us with genuine warmth. Loved The rustic ambiance of the traditional Cypriot kitchen! Under Pambos's expert guidance, we dove into the heart of Cypriot cuisine and made Sheftalia. We minced pork, finely chopped onions, and blended aromatic herbs. Pambos shared stories of family traditions, local ingredients, and secret tips. We kneaded, shaped, and laughed until our creations were ready for the grill. We ate the sheftalia we cooked paired with local wines!

Wir haben das Sheftalia Grillen gleich an unserem ersten Tag gemacht. Es war ein wunderbarer Start in unseren Urlaub! Pambos Haus ist Mitten in wunderschönen Landschaft und Nahe einem kleinem sehenswerten Ort gelegen. Jetzt im Frühling blüht alles und im Zitrushain durch den wir zusammen spaziert sind, ist alles Reif. Orangen, Zitronen, Pomelo und alles mögliche dazwischen was ich nicht gekannt habe und wir konnten alles kosten. Beim Grillen konnten wir immer wieder unterschiedliche Sachen und frisch gepressten Zitrus Saft und Wein kosten. Es war lustig zusammen zu kochen und dabei zu plaudern. Das Endergebnis war super gut! Am besten war es den gemütlichen Nachmittag mit Pambos zu verbringen, plaudern und viel über Zypern zu erfahren. Wirklich ein toller Nachmittag!

Wow what an experience!!! It was amazing We went as a family with 2 kids 14, 9 Which both loved the house and the nature Going around the garden and picking oranges and lemons , the host was super , he was explaining about the area and Cyprus including wine and food , the kids had great time preparing the soflaki Which was delicious, my wife and I enjoyed learning about the Greek culture and had a lot of fun as a family Over all we highly recommend

Highlight of our time in Cyprus. We had an amazing time with Pambos and our group. A really authentic experience and we enjoyed Pambos company very much, the time disappeared as we talked and ate lots and lots of Sheftalia. We would 100% recommend this experience during your time in Paphos.

The most homely wine tasting and food workshop you will EVER have. The host is extremely knowledgeable and helps you discover certain tastes in the wine that help you discern your palate. He is extremely helpful, kind and friendly.
We had the best afternoon relaxing under a 200 year old olive tree listening to the rustling leaves and sun bugs. Taking I'm the views of the rolling hills.
Not to mention, the drive there on its own is spectacular !!!!!
After visiting multiple wine farms on our holiday, THIS experience was by far our favorite. Make sure you book in advance. Every experience is private and they only take one booking at a time.

I would highly recommend this experience. Not only is Pambos an amazing host and great storyteller, but the food was delicious and we learned almost everything there is to know about Halloumi cheese. It is really hard to only point out specific things that we liked. One of our favorite things was to walk through the orchard, learn about different fruits and to make our own juice. You should definitely make sure not to eat too much before you visit Pambos as he will make sure that you taste all the amazing cheeses and the wonderful food that you cook together. There is also a breathtaking view and you get to relax in the beautiful countryside. Pambos also recommend a lot of great restaurants and trips throughout the island which made a trip extra special. All in all we have to say that if you want to experience Cyprus with all senses, this experience is just perfect for you. Thank you very much for everything Pambos!

An introduction to Cypriot wine. A truly Cypriot wine tasting experience, very personal and not at all commercial. You feel very comfortable and relaxed in the authentic garden. Tasting was very informative where I discovered the characteristics of each wine. Lovely, thank you Pambos.

My family & I had a brilliant experience at Pambos’s wine tasting room. The wine was excellent! We tried 6 different types of wines and we had as much as we wanted. 3 different platters of food were served to accompany the wine tasting, all local foods, which were prepared beautifully. The highlight of the experience is most definitely the host, Pambos. He delivers the wine tasting with charisma and enthusiasm, walking you through each wine with tips, knowledge and stories related to the Cyprus and the region. 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend!!

If I could choose one thing to do in Cyprus, it's definitely visit to Pambos tasting room! Degusterai gratuitamente qualsiasi tipo di vino di quasi tutte le provenienze. Offrirà anche una deliziosa cucina al fuoco e frutta fresca raccolta proprio di fronte a te dagli alberi nel suo cortile che coltiva solo con acqua pura e terreno puro senza l'aggiunta di sostanze chimiche. Altamente consigliato per un weekend tranquillo e senza stress o anche solo per un giorno. We booked a group wine tasting with Pambo whilst in Cyprus for our friend's wedding. The experience was in Pambo's remote villa, family owned for decades, in the beautiful Paphos hills. He is a lively character who provided a fun, relaxed and very informative session - the best wine tasting I've ever had. I would totally recommend - and if I ever found myself in Paphos again I would do it all over again.

Of je nu wijngaarden wilt bezoeken, een hike wilt doen door het gebied of lekker wijnen wilt proeven in zijn wine tasting room, het kan allemaal. Als je dat combineert met de prachtige plek waar de tasting room staat, verscholen tussen de sinaasappel- en citroenbomen, met de prachtige verhalen die Pambos vertelt over wijn maken proeven en de geschiedenis en met de gezellige sfeer die Pambos weet te creëren dan heb je de perfecte settling voor een heerlijke vakantie! Pambos was amazing with everything from the moment I booked. He kept me updated with the weather in Cyprus and sent pictures of his humble abode; which btw has an amazing view. Pambos is very knowledgeable with the wines and also hosts actual wine tours and can provide you with info on how to book one. He was very friendly and respectful and funny and he made us lovely food and finished with cocktails at the end. All my girls loved the experience and we will most definitely go back to him again if we ever go back 🙂

First of all, if you like wine and you want to broaden your knowledge about it, Pambos is a great person who will explain everything you need to know. it was not the classic wine tasting with a label story, but rather a walk through the whole wine tasting event (learning about the organoleptic aspects such as smell / taste etc.). The wines he prepared for us were brilliant (cabernet sauvignon was the best in the world). The place we were in has a mega-local atmosphere, you did not want to leave it. Pambos as a person is another aspect of the whole experience, a guy with a great sense of humor, very friendly and helpful if you need help. If there was a possibility, I would give 10/10.
